Dear Jana,
I hate this book. I am on Chapter 2--as in I finished the 40 pages of Chapter 1, and I am now staring blankly at the beginning of Chapter 2 willing myself to start and yet unable to actually read a word.
Why is this book sucking the life out of me?
Please tell me it gets better.

I am unable to pick the book up again too (I hope we're talking American Pastoral). I think the fictitiuos ladies in Jane Autin in Boca were right on the money when they commented on this Roth work.
It goes back to the library tomorrow!
Sounds like I'm glad to have my nose stuck in Brisingr... fantasy dork that I am!
